Happy Birthday Ferlin
Your person inspires me to write poems of beauty, majesty and other words that end in -ty. I would too, if only I could come up with something to rhyme with your wretched excuse for a name.

Comments:
They say my name is a girl's name. Actually it's a name of a 1950's singer, Ferlin Husky, but I begin to think that it's just a screen name because Husky seems to have been put there as an affirmation that he's male. Bastards.

Some people are reminded of a brand of vitamins and baby products, the offside would be that among them is a silicone nipple. Well my nipples are not silicone and I believe there's no such thing as silicone nipple implants.

My relatives always sing "Pearly Shells" just to annoy me. Same with "Perla".

I used to hate my name, then again names are just names and they never dictate who you are. Then again, they are said to be the aspirations of our parents for us. What could they be thinking?!

All in all, I am just thankful that my name isn't in the same league as Mercedita Cantot, Donna Cahalayhalay or Tiburcio Magbungcal.
